Fearless Book Review

Can you imagine your life without fear? It is something that every human being possesses whether it be about the declining economy, making ends meet, or raising your children in the right way. I was glad to review the new Max Lucado book for Thomas Nelson Publishers called 'Fearless' that hit the shelves on September 8th in order to learn how to live a 'fearless' lifestyle and react with faith. I have always enjoyed Max Lucado books and this one definitely lived up to my expectations.

Being a very RECENT mother, I really enjoyed the chapter talking about fear of not protecting my kids. Page 58 outlined this perfectly by saying, "Don't you see that children are God's best gifts? the fruit of the womb is his generous legacy? (Ps. 127:3) Before they were ours, they were his. Even as they are ours, they are still his." I only hope that my husband and I can raise our children in a Christian household and turn to God in prayer when we have questions, something this book talked highly about.

I would recommend this 219 page book to everyone not just parents because it talks about so many different facets of life that revolve around fear. In addition, there is a great discussion guide in the back of the book that would be great for a small group.
